LDPIX – Photography & Graphic Design of Chris Hoyle

My name is Christian Hoyle. I’m currently based in Leeds and working as an artist, photographer, graphic designer and video editor. I’ve also been a promoter for the event Central Beatz since 2002. I’ve worked with, and contributed for a variety of clients and businesses over the years, including DJ Mag and Mixmag, and notably I’ve worked as the resident photographer for Subdub and its associated events in Leeds since 2005.

I graduated in 2006 from Leeds University with a BA Fine Art, specialising in photographic and video based work. I’ve exhibited in a variety of different locations across the UK including the Brewery Arts center in Kendal, as well as various locations in Leeds such as the Corn Exchange and Reform.

Photography / Graphic Design / Video Editing

• I have skills in many different specialist areas such as professional photo-shoots, either in a studio or on location. I use a Nikon Digital SLR camera with a variety of different lenses suitable for a range of different purposes including portraiture, landscapes, products, events, architecture and documentation.
• I have a portable studio lighting kit that can be used in any location for professional looking results in a variety of scenarios. Photos can be either enhanced or edited using Photoshop and Aperture to get the look you’re after.
• I’m able to shoot HD 1080p High Definition video footage and record sound which can then be mixed, edited & optimised for either use online or elsewhere.
