This series of photos documents my travel from Russia into Mongolia. Departing by train from Irkutsk, Siberia, to arrive at the last stop before the border for passport checks. After an epic 5 hour wait, we get our papers back and head on the overnight train into the rolling steppes of Mongolia.
Beginning my trip in Finland back in summer 2009 and traveling only by train, I lugged my lens and life through eight time zones, passing through Russia, Mongolia, and China.
